Honda HRV 2024 , the latest in a line of subcompact crossover SUVs produced over three generations, maintains its reputation for blending style and practicality. The third generation, introduced as the 2023 model, introduced a distinct version (RZ) tailored to meet the specific needs of North American customers, while the global market received it as the Honda ZRV. The 2024 model retains the core features that have made the HR-V popular, and in this review, we’ll assess its design, performance, and value in the competitive subcompact SUV market.

Exterior

The 2024 Honda HR-V showcases a strikingly redesigned exterior with a low horizontal beltline that extends from the elongated hood over pronounced rear fenders, giving it a commanding presence. It has grown wider by 2.6 inches and longer by 9.4 inches, emphasizing its broad-shouldered stance. Wide-set LED headlights and taillights accentuate its increased width. The front grille is expressive and features air curtain inlets for enhanced aerodynamics. Laser-brazing technology eliminates the need for roof moldings, creating a clean and upscale appearance.

Additionally, the windshield wipers can discreetly hide beneath the hood line when not in use, adding to the overall aesthetics. The sculpted rear hatch and tailgate spoiler further enhance its sporty proportions, while reshaped taillights improve aerodynamics.
