The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross combines the qualities of a Corolla sedan and hatchback with the versatility of a crossover SUV. While it shares its name with the traditional Corolla models, it differentiates itself by offering increased ground clearance, enhanced cargo space, and the option for all-wheel drive. Initially introduced in 2020, the Corolla Cross has maintained the same specifications for the 2024 model year without undergoing significant changes.

Exterior

The Toyota Corolla Cross is available in three grades: L, LE, and XLE. With its spacious and modern design, the Corolla Cross delivers power and high-quality craftsmanship. Built on the TNGA-C platform, it offers a higher line-of-sight and an approachable exterior. The front features a distinct black grille with LED lighting and black body accents, exuding confidence. The rear design includes an integrated spoiler and LED lighting. Wheel options vary from 17-inch steel on the L grade to 18-inch alloy on the XLE grade.

The Toyota Corolla Cross offers a spacious interior that shares similarities with its sedan and hatchback counterparts. The seating is available in SofTex trim, and the driver’s seat can be power-adjusted in 10 different ways with lumbar support, along with heated front seats. The rear seats can be folded in a 60/40-split configuration to maximize storage space, and XLE models offer a center armrest with cupholders. Additionally, the Corolla Cross can be equipped with a power liftgate that has height adjustability, and there are accessory options like a roof rack, activity mount for carrying items like bicycles, and all-weather floor mats to enhance its versatility.

 Drivetrain

The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross offers two drivetrain options. The non-hybrid model features a 169-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with the choice of front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. On the other hand, the hybrid model is equipped with a 196-horsepower hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with three electric motors, and comes standard with all-wheel drive.
