- 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 Engine: For an additional cost, drivers can opt for the more potent 2.7L EcoBoost® engine, a leader in its class, pushing out 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. It’s matched with a mandatory 10-speed automatic transmission. With premium fuel, it maximizes its capability at 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, while with regular fuel, it operates at 315 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque.
Transmission Dynamics: The 10-speed automatic transmission, known for its smooth gear transitions and efficiency, is offered with the 2.3L engine and comes as standard with the 2.7L and 3.0L engines. It’s engineered to be flat-tow capable, providing an additional layer of utility for adventurers. However, this transmission isn’t paired with the 2.3L engine in the Badlands® series of the Bronco.
For the apex of power in the Bronco series, the Ford team has fine-tuned the twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost® engine to serve the Bronco Raptor.
