2024 Lexus GX ; The GX is a mid-size luxury SUV offered in various markets by Lexus, the upscale division of Toyota. It inherits its off-road prowess from the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, serving as its foundation. The GX made its debut in 2002 as the first-generation GX 470, marking its entry as the third SUV in the Lexus lineup at the time. Recently, a third-generation GX prototype was revealed, boasting a more rugged and boxy design compared to its predecessor. This upgraded twin-turbo V6 engine delivers a notable 349 horsepower, surpassing the previous generation’s V8 engine with 301 horsepower, while torque output increases significantly to 479 lb.-ft. The twin turbochargers provide consistent acceleration and precise power control for both on-road and off-road driving scenarios.
