The Elantra makes a bold statement with its sharp and angular design, setting it apart from other cars in its class. One noticeable update is the redesigned front fascia, which now features a split grille, separating the upper and lower sections for a more refined appearance. This design change is also seen in its larger sibling, the Sonata. The headlights have been made slimmer, and the fenders have been modified to accommodate these updates.

Specifications:

The standard Elantra models, such as the SE and SEL, come with a nonhybrid 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, delivering a modest performance. However, opting for the sportier N Line variant provides a more exciting driving experience, thanks to a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that generates 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid models also utilize a 1.6-liter engine, but with an electric motor instead of a turbocharger, resulting in slightly less horsepower at 139, but matching the N Line’s torque output at 195 pound-feet. The SE and SEL models are equipped with a CVT, while the N Line, Blue Hybrid, and Limited Hybrid models receive a DCT (dual-clutch transmission). Notably, the N Line’s DCT has seven speeds, while the hybrids have a six-speed DCT.
