The 2024 Chevrolet Trax represents the second generation of this model, which was initially introduced in 2013 as the brand’s smallest and entry-level crossover SUV. Compared to its predecessor, the new Trax is larger, offering increased space for passengers and cargo, as well as a wider range of standard and available features. With a strong emphasis on safety, the Trax comes equipped with a comprehensive set of standard safety features and advanced technologies to keep customers connected.

The 2024 Trax brings forth an athletic and muscular design, drawing inspiration from the Chevrolet Blazer, with longer, lower, and wider proportions than its predecessor. The front fascia showcases sleek horizontal lines, accentuating the vehicle’s width, and incorporates the iconic Chevy bowtie at the center of the grille. The slim, Blazer-inspired headlamps boast all-new LED lighting elements, complemented by Chevy’s signature high-eye LED daytime running lamps, enhancing visibility both day and night. The side profile flaunts a sleek appearance, thanks to a 4-inch-lower overall height compared to the current model, while robust “shoulders” in the body contribute to a taut, muscular presence and a commanding stance.

2024 Chevrolet Trax Interior

The Chevrolet Trax’s interior was meticulously designed to impart a sense of lightness and space, achieved through sweeping lines and delicate technical details that accentuate the vehicle’s width. This airy ambiance is made possible by the car’s longer, lower, and wider platform. The instrument panel is placed low to enhance visibility and contribute to the open feel, while a captivating technical texture pattern adds depth. Taking cues from recent Chevy performance vehicles, the interior features signature round vents and other inspired elements. Emphasizing the tech-forward approach, the centerpiece of the design is the prominently placed display screens, with the infotainment screen thoughtfully angled towards the driver for more intuitive control.

In terms of drivetrain, the 2024 Trax is exclusively available with front-wheel drive. Chevrolet made this decision because the all-wheel drive option is already offered in the Trailblazer. Furthermore, the new Trax was specifically designed to replace the Cruze sedan and hatchback, aiming to provide a versatile and practical alternative for customers.
