Toyota has unveiled the much-anticipated 2025 Toyota Camry, presenting enthusiasts with an extensive refresh that, while not entirely “all new,” brings substantial enhancements. A key highlight is the Camry’s transition to an exclusively hybrid configuration, discontinuing the previous V6 option.

In addition to the noteworthy powertrain update, the 2025 model showcases a redesigned exterior, an upgraded suspension system, and a revamped interior, all detailed in this article.

Exterior

Despite the refreshed aesthetics, Toyota has officially confirmed that the 2025 Camry maintains its foundation on the familiar TNGA-K platform. This revelation positions the latest model as a substantial refresh rather than an entirely new vehicle. This distinction becomes particularly apparent when scrutinizing the side profiles, which exhibit striking similarities to the previous iteration. However, designers have adeptly introduced distinctive elements, most notably evident in the updated front fascia. Characterized by Toyota’s iconic “hammerhead” shape and slender daytime-running lights, the new design aligns the Camry more closely with other vehicles in the Toyota lineup, such as the Crown and the Prius. Furthermore, Toyota has expanded customization options by introducing two fresh color combinations to the already extensive list of choices.

Inside the 2025 Toyota Camry

The 2025 Toyota Camry showcases substantial updates, particularly in its interior. A comprehensive overhaul includes a redesigned dashboard and center console, featuring a seven-inch digital gauge cluster for LE and SE models and an impressive 12.3-inch cluster for XLE and XSE trims. The infotainment system boasts a standard eight-inch touchscreen, expandable to 12.3 inches, and includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. A range of optional features, such as a 10-inch head-up display, JBL sound system, in-car WiFi, and a digital key function, enhances customization. Higher trims like the XLE and XSE prioritize a quieter driving experience with front-side laminated glass to reduce wind and vibration noise, making the 2025 Camry’s interior a technologically advanced and personalized space.

The 2025 Toyota Camry also comes equipped with Toyota’s Safety Sense 3.0, featuring a suite of safety systems such as pre-collision detection, radar cruise control, lane departure alert, road sign assist, and more. Standard safety includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts. The Premium Plus package for XLE or XSE trim adds extra features like traffic jam assist, front cross-traffic alerts, lane change assist, a panoramic view monitor, and front and rear parking assist with automatic braking.

Powertrain

The 2025 Camry introduces a new four-cylinder hybrid system, replacing the previous powertrains. The 2.5-liter inline-four engine, paired with two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack, produces a combined 225 horsepower (or 232 hp with all-wheel drive). While engine options remain fixed, buyers can choose from revised suspension setups, emphasizing enhanced responsiveness and agile handling. Sportier trims offer specific sport-tuned configurations, enhancing stability and handling capabilities.
