But first, we would like to remind you that we have previously test-driven the all-new sixth generation of Nissan Altima sedan in an episode of Special Coverage program. Its’ also worth saying that Nissan Altima debuted in 1992 as a 1993 model.

The new Nissan Altima has become longer and wider despite its reduced weight, and it got a more elegant and youthful design characterized by the sharp horizontal lines and signature Nissan design cues such as the V-motion grille and streamlined boomerang lights.

The New Altima is available with two engine options

A naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder direct-injection engine, which produces 188 horsepower and 244 Nm of torque, so that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in approximately 8 seconds.

This engine is available in two categories: Altima SV and Altima SL.

A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder VC-Turbo engine which replaced the previous-generation Nissan Altima’s 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine is used in the car Kareem Deeb test-drove in today’s episode, and it generates 248 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. With this engine, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6 seconds.

This engine is available in Altima S, Altima SV, Altima Sport, and Altima SL trim levels.

Both engine options are connected to CVT gearbox with the front-wheel-drive system as standard. The maximum speed of the 2020 Nissan Altima is 220 km / h (electronically limited).
