Today, we will show you our first test drive of the all-new 2020 Kia Seltos which has a modern and distinctive design, accompanied by our colleague Karim Deeb, in this episode of Test Drive program.
This new car derives its name from Seltos, son of the Greek legend Hercules, and its production version was revealed last year. The car shares its chassis and some of its specifications with its sister from its cousin, the 2020 Hyundai Creta.

In this episode, Karim tested the Seltos GT Line, which bears a sporty exterior design with simple red accents to add a youthful touch.
This car is available in our Arab markets with a single choice of 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engines that generate 121 hp and 151 Newton meters of torque. This beating heart is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and this car works with a front-wheel drive system.
This new Korean car is very economical in terms of fuel consumption and it has a gasoline tank with a capacity of 55 liters, which is very practical for this engine on urban roads but not on external high ways.
The price of the new 2020 Kia Seltos in the United Arab Emirates starts from 16,310 US dollars, equivalent to 59,900 AED or 61,160 Saudi riyals, and the price of the fully loaded trim level reaches 21,210 US dollars, equivalent to 77,900 AED or 79,540 Saudi riyals.
Kia’s new Seltos competes with Ford EcoSport, Chevrolet Trax, and Renault Duster.
