You must have read in many previous articles about the upcoming all-new 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser, and today our ArabGT team has new information about the launch date of the new generation of the Japanese SUV, which specifically competes against Nissan Patrol.
According to what was recently published by the Japanese website BestCarWeb, the all-new generation of Toyota Land Cruiser will appear next August 2020. It will compete against the 2020 Nissan Patrol, which was facelifted for the New Year model, and was test-driven by ArabGT team in an episode of Test Drive program.
The information that was published by the Japanese website about the all-new 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser is not over yet, as the unofficial source indicated that the new generation of this model would be available in a new version called Land Cruiser LS 500h.
As its name indicates, this version of 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser will be equipped with a hybrid system that combines a gasoline engine and an electric motor. The system generates a power of no less than 295 hp (299 PS) and 356 Nm of torque, this economic version will have CVT transmission and a four-wheel-drive system, and this hybrid option will be an alternative to the V8 engine. 4.6 liters.
In addition, the new 2021 Land Cruiser will be available in the new generation with other options of engines that satisfy all tastes in the global markets. No information was available about the fate of the 4.5-liter V8 diesel engine available on the current Toyota Land Cruiser.
The information also indicates that the size of the next-generation Toyota Land Cruiser will increase compared to the current model, which will be reflected in improving the seating space in the second row and third-row seats.
