Stellantis Pro One, the commercial vehicle division of Stellantis, has unveiled a new range called Smart Compact Van, a lineup of compact vans developed specifically for business owners and professionals who rely on commercial vehicles daily, with a strong focus on practicality, comfort, and lower operating costs.
The new range includes four models from different Stellantis brands: Citroën Berlingo First, Fiat Doblò Easy Pro, Opel Combo Start, and Peugeot Partner Active. These vehicles combine practical design, smart space utilization, and the flexibility required by small and medium-sized businesses as well as commercial fleets, especially in demanding day-to-day operations.
On the outside, the Smart Compact Van models retain the recognizable Stellantis van identity, featuring a robust front end and a large front bumper designed to enhance protection. Inside, the cabin has been comprehensively redesigned, including the doors, dashboard, and control layout, creating a more comfortable and user-friendly workspace for drivers during long working hours.
One of the standout features of the new range is the innovative Flexiseat passenger seat. This flexible seat can be folded down to increase cargo capacity by 0.5 cubic meters. It can also be equipped with the optional Modutable unit, transforming it into a mobile office or a practical table for breaks and meals. The feature can even be added after the vehicle has been purchased.
Stellantis Pro One has also introduced several smart cabin solutions, including the removable Moduconsole center console with integrated cup holders and a closed storage compartment, the Dashbox storage panel with two enclosed compartments, the Drive Drawer located beneath the seat, and the Moduwork system, which adds a third central seat and provides greater flexibility when transporting three occupants or carrying longer items.
Under the hood, the new range will be available with several powertrain options to suit different customer needs. These include a fully electric version capable of traveling up to 270 km on a single charge, as well as three internal combustion engine variants consisting of two diesel engines and one gasoline engine. Most markets will receive a manual transmission, while Turkey will offer an automatic gearbox. A hybrid version is also scheduled to join the lineup next year.
Vehicle dimensions remain unchanged, with customers able to choose between two body lengths. Payload capacity ranges from 750 kg to 1 tonne, while cargo volume varies from 3.3 to 4.4 cubic meters.
According to Stellantis, the Smart Compact Van range was developed using direct customer feedback and real-world usage insights, resulting in practical vehicles that deliver competitive pricing and improved operating value. The range is aimed at both companies looking to renew their fleets and entrepreneurs seeking an efficient compact commercial vehicle for everyday business tasks.
Order books for the Smart Compact Van range are expected to open in December, with market launches scheduled for 2027. Available models include the Citroën Berlingo First, Fiat Doblò Easy Pro, Opel Combo Start, and Peugeot Partner Active.
