Toyota Shows Us How The GR Yaris Sports Car Is Built

Today we will introduce a video posted by Toyota on YouTube about how they manufacture GR Yaris, and the Japanese company showed us what is inside the new production facility at its Motomachi plant in Japan.

After a few days of providing you with price comparison between the 2021 Toyota Supra and the 2020 model of this sports car in its fifth generation, today we will talk about the future, with the new GR cars coming from Toyota and presented specifically by the section of Gazoo Racing.

Watch the video that shows how Toyota GR Yaris is built:

Through this video, the Japanese carmaker presents the GR Yaris assembly line, and it is likely that more new cars will be made in this facility in the near future, God willing.

As we mentioned at the beginning, there is a special production line for GR copies at Toyota’s Motomachi plant, and the carmaker has provided this production line with more space to allow more manual work. Toyota aspires to increase the size of this facility to be able to produce millions of sports cars without any difference in quality.

Dear ArabGT followers, we must assure you that the Toyota GR Yaris is not only a regular car with some different parts, as it has an additional 11 meters of adhesive material on its body and 200 additional welding points to enhance rigidity, in addition to other major differences compared to the regular Yaris.

Mechanical specifications of Toyota GR Yaris:

This version of Toyota Yaris is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter 3-cylinder engine, generating 257 hp and 360 Nm. This all-wheel-drive hatchback comes with 3 driving modes.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but Toyota is likely to offer new GR versions of Corolla, and C-HR. As soon as we have more information we will provide it to you immediately, God willing.
