This Is The Top Speed Recorded by The All-New 2020 Corvette C8

Although General Motors did not announce the top speed of the all-new 2020 Corvette C8 when it was officially launched last year, it subsequently revealed the performance figures of this sports car including the top speed it can reach without modifications.

As Chevrolet announced, the new Corvette equipped with the Z51 package can reach a speed of 184 mph (296.1 km / h), and without this package, the top speed of this car goes up to194 mph (312.2 km / h).

Today, however, we got a long video that we chose only two minutes from, so we can watch the moment when the new American sports car powered by a mid-engine reached its top speed while driving on a dry lake bed located in Utah.

Watch The Video:

According to what was recorded in the video, the 2020 Corvette C8 2reached a speed of 173 mph, equivalent to 278 km / h on the lake bed before the brakes were hit because the distance was not enough to go faster

As a reminder, the 8th generation of the all-new Corvette got a mid-engine. This model is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2L LT2 V8, generating 490 hp (497 hp PS) and 630 Nm of torque in the regular version. When equipped with the Z51 package, numbers increase to 495 hp (502 PS) and 637 Nm of torque.
