Today, we will present the sound of the Koenigsegg Regera accelerating on the track from 0 to 300 km/h in a new video that was posted yesterday on YouTube.
Unfortunately, our ArabGT team has not yet gotten any chance to drive one of the extremely rare Swedish cars, which cost a fortune to own, making it a masterpiece in the world of fast and very distinctive cars, but our colleague Suhaib Shashaa has already met the Regera and its newer sister Koenigsegg Jesko.
Turn up the volume to hear the roar of the supercar that rivals the speed legend Bugatti Chiron:
Before you share your opinion with us about the sound of the Koenigsegg Regera when it accelerates, we would like to remind you that this supercar appeared for the first time in the world as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, only to return a year later in the same world famous auto show to appear in the production version, and Suhaib introduced it to us more than 4 years ago.
Only 80 copies of this fast and very distinctive model will be ever made, with a hefty price as you would expect, as the price for Regera starts from 1.9 million US dollars, equivalent to 7.126 million Saudi riyals.
This Swedish-made legend depends on a hybrid system that combines 4 engines; A 5-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, and 3 electric motors, for a total power of 1,500 horsepower and 2,000 Newton meters of torque produced by all of these engines together.
The 1,590 kg Regera accelerates from zero to a speed of 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds, and reaches a speed of 200 km / h in 6.6 seconds, and needs only 20 seconds to reach 400 km / h, and it travels a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds and finishes at a speed of 300 km / h.
