Within this article, we will show you a spy video posted on YouTube showing 3 of the upcoming new 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 cars roaming the public streets in broad daylight in Valencia, California, USA.

It appears that many automakers are currently testing their upcoming high-performance cars on public roads. As you already know, this is not the first prototype we see on the street, before the official launch date of its production version.

After announcing the start of production of the all-new eighth generation of the American sports car Chevrolet Corvette at the GM plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the time has come for GM engineers to focus on developing higher-performance versions of the Corvette C8.

According to what was posted on Automobile website, the upcoming new 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Z06  will likely be powered by a twin-turbo the 8-cylinder Blackwing engine, the same engine used in the current model of Cadillac CT6-V

But of course, some tweaks were made to improve the performance numbers of this beating heart and it is expected to generate a maximum of 800 Horsepower and 949 Nm of torque. Knowing that the same engine in Cadillac CT6-V generates 550 HP and 868 Nm of torque.

Just as a reminder, our colleague Suhaib Shashaa has test-driven the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 which is based on the seventh generation of the Corvette, and has a 6.2-liter V8 engine generating 650 hp and 881 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic, and the rear-wheel-drive vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 330 km / h.
