The new 2021 Mercedes Black Series has recently broken speed records of Ferrari 488 Pista, Porsche 911 GT RS MR and McLaren 720S.
The German star that we are talking about in this news is the most powerful version of the Mercedes AMG GT, and as you may remember, this new German sports car was launched last July.
Today, we will show you a new video that reveals the time the AMG GT Black Series needed to lap the Hockenheim circuit in Germany, accompanied by Sport Auto team.
Watch The Video:
The newest Mercedes Black Series 2021 lapped the Hockenheim circuit in a record time of 1: 43.3 minutes, driven by the professional driver Christian Gebhardt.
To set this record, this new sports car depended on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, measuring 285/35 ZR 19 in the front and 335/30 ZR 20 at the rear.
Unconfirmed rumors suggest that the AMG GT Black Series was also able to lap the Nürburgring circuit in 6 minutes and 40 seconds, but there is nothing official documenting this number, and Mercedes-Benz has not confirmed these rumors, which means that they may be trying to improve this number if these leaks are true.
