It seems that after US President Donald Trump’s slow and muddled response to the coronavirus pandemic, he is trying to play catch up now as thousands of new cases of coronavirus are confirmed, which made him realize the urgent need to a huge number of ventilators to prevent Italy-like coronavirus disaster

On Friday, US President Trump said on Twitter that they “have just purchased many ventilators from some wonderful companies” and that “Names and numbers will be announced later today!”.  He also said in another tweet that he had requested from the largest US automaker, General Motors, and Ford, to manufacture ventilators.

on a separate Trump tweeted: “China has been through much & has developed a strong understanding of the Virus. We are working closely together. Much respect!,”

Making this official statement, it seems that the American president has decided to calm down his tone with China , after the accusations he previously made on the Chinese government regarding the spread of this epidemic.

CCTV public channel also confirmed that China is ready to exchange information and experiences with the United States without any reservation.
