The 2021 Peugeot 308 Officially Reveals The Updates It Got

Today we will introduce the 2021 Peugeot 308 which received a number of updates and was revealed online by the French company.

Before talking about the update, dear Arab G followers, we would like to remind you of our previous test drive of the Peugeot 308 GT Line, which we presented in an episode of Test Drive program with our colleague Karim Deeb.

Today, we will officially talk about the French car, Peugeot 308, getting a facelift for its second and current generation that started in 2013, which means that we are not talking in this article about an all-new generation of this 2021 Peugeot, which competes with both; Mazda 3, Kia Rio, Hyundai Veloster, Ford Focus, Renault Clio, Citroen C3, Audi A3, Volkswagen Golf, and Skoda Octavia.

As you can see, the new updated 2021 Peugeot car was equipped with new rims, and it’s now available with a new blue color option, and it offers now an optional package for higher trims with black touches and chrome accents.

And to the interior, where the 2021 Peugeot 308 was supplied with a new 10-inch digital dashboard, which was previously provided in  Peugeot 208, and Peugeot 2008, the car also got a touch screen for the infotainment system.

Engine options that will be available for this updated French car:

A turbo 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine generating 99 hp or 128 hp, connected to a manual 6-speed transmission, and will be available later with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

A 1.5-liter diesel engine generating 99 hp or 128 hp, connected to a manual 6-speed gearbox or an optional 8-speed automatic.

The GTI version of the 2021 Peugeot 308 2021 comes with a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine generating 259 hp and 340 Nm of torque, and is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6 seconds, and has a top speed of 250 Km / h (155 mph).
