Russian Police Seize Batmobile In Moscow

Russian Traffic Police seized a replica of Batman’s car, aka Batmobile , after it was spotted on a public road in the Russian capital, Moscow, without license plates.

Traffic officers noticed Batmobile parked on a major street in the central city and decided to send it to an impoundment lot after they realized it had no license plates and the car was not premised to be driven on public roads. The police also found that the dimensions of the vehicle “exceeded acceptable norms”.

According to media reports, the owner of the car is a 32-year-old resident of Moscow, and the same sources added that the car is an exact replica of the car that appeared in the movie Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice movie and it has a 502-hp V8 engine with a capacity of 5.0 liters.

🦇Этому городу нужен герой, которого он заслуживает🦇 Но то в Готэме. В Москве Бэтмена мгновенно принимают полицейские. Дальше – зелёный эвакуатор и штрафстоянка. Чтоб неповадно!

The car was described as armored and equipped with a night-vision camera, a thermal imaging camera, a laser-aiming device and a model gun that imitates the sound of shooting.

Moscow police explained in a statement that the so-called “Batmobile” confiscated in central Moscow was apparently “not manufactured within factory conditions” and was neither registered with authorities nor certified as roadworthy

Batmobile owner is now being investigated on three different charges, relating to the vehicle’s lack of documentation, its alleged excessive weight or size, as well as its irregular features that are not permitted on road-driven vehicles.
