The Genesis G80 Magma is far more than a sporty version of the standard G80. It is a special project that blends Korean luxury with Arab engineering ambition. Production is limited to just 20 units, developed in collaboration with W Motors, the UAE-based company known for creating exotic hypercars such as the Lykan HyperSport and Fenyr SuperSport.
Exterior Design
The G80 Magma immediately stands out thanks to its exclusive fiery orange paint finish, which is a genuine factory color rather than a wrap. Its aggressive character is further enhanced by extensive use of real carbon fiber on the mirrors, hood, and rear diffuser.
The car rides on 21-inch BBS wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, giving it a more commanding presence and improved grip. Performance upgrades also include Brembo front brakes with slotted discs designed to improve cooling and braking consistency, proving that the enhancements go well beyond cosmetic changes.
2026 Genesis G80 Magma Specifications
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with an all-wheel-drive system. For the Magma edition, output has been increased to 500 horsepower through a combination of software tuning and selective mechanical upgrades.
One of the most important aspects of the package is that the modifications retain the factory warranty, allowing owners to enjoy greater performance without sacrificing reliability.
During ArabGT testing using a Dragy performance meter, the Genesis G80 Magma accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, compared to 6.3 seconds for the standard model. The quarter mile was completed in 13.5 seconds at 167 km/h, while the car required just 2.9 seconds and 33 meters to come to a stop from 100 km/h.
The numbers highlight noticeable improvements in acceleration, braking, and handling. The suspension has also been tuned for a firmer, more performance-focused feel, while the turbocharged exhaust note remains engaging without becoming intrusive.
Interior Design
Inside, the G80 Magma adopts a more driver-focused personality. The standard luxury Nappa leather seats have been replaced by Recaro sport seats that provide greater support during spirited driving.
Alcantara and carbon fiber accents appear throughout the cabin, including on the steering wheel and headliner, while orange and white stitching reinforces the performance-oriented atmosphere.
Despite its sporting intentions, the G80 Magma retains the luxury expected from a Genesis sedan. A massive 27-inch display remains the centerpiece of the dashboard, complemented by an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. The vehicle also features a UVC sterilization compartment integrated into the center console for added convenience.
2026 Genesis G80 Magma Price
The Genesis G80 Magma is not simply a modified luxury sedan. It serves as a statement of Genesis’ growing ambitions in the high-performance segment. Rare, powerful, stylish, and distinctly different from traditional Korean luxury sedans, the Magma showcases what the brand is capable of when performance becomes a priority.
Although official pricing has not yet been announced, it is expected to exceed the price of a fully equipped Genesis G80, which currently starts at approximately AED 293,000 in the UAE.
