2024 Porsche Panamera Turbo S

The 2024 Porsche Panamera Turbo S is part of Porsche’s second generation of mid/full-sized luxury 4-door cars, initially introduced in 2016 and later facelifted in 2021. Interestingly, the latest 2024 model closely resembles the previous facelifted version, maintaining the outstanding performance and distinctive features that have characterized this series, reaffirming its position as a standout luxury sedan. While there is anticipation of an upcoming facelift with minor adjustments, as of the date of this article, no official announcements have been made regarding these changes.

Exterior

The 2024 Porsche Panamera Turbo S features an updated exterior design that brings significant enhancements to its overall appearance.

Regardless of whether you opt for the sports saloon, Sport Turismo, or Executive with a lengthened wheelbase, all Panamera models now come equipped with the previously optional Sport Design front end as standard. This design includes eye-catching air intake grilles, generously sized side cooling openings, and a distinctive single-bar front light module. Notably, the Panamera Turbo S sets itself apart with larger side air intakes and newly designed exterior elements in a color that horizontally connects, emphasizing the vehicle’s width. Additionally, the dual Turbo front lights have been positioned wider apart to create a more distinct and imposing presence on the road.

Moving to the rear of the Panamera, a revamped light strip seamlessly extends over the luggage compartment lid, creating a continuous and flowing connection between the two newly designed LED tail light clusters. For the GTS models, these come standard with the new darkened Exclusive Design tail light clusters, which feature a dynamic coming/leaving home function. Porsche has also expanded the wheel options, offering three new 20- and 21-inch designs in addition to the existing choices, allowing customers to select from a total of 10 different wheel designs to further customize their Panamera Turbo S.

Powertrain

In contrast to Porsche’s sports cars, the Panamera Turbo luxury-sports sedan is propelled by a potent twin-turbo V-8 engine located at the front of the vehicle, and it comes with all-wheel drive as a standard feature.

The recently unveiled Porsche Panamera Turbo S stands out with its remarkable power output, boasting 630 PS (463 kW) and a substantial 820 Newton-meters of torque.

This represents a notable increase of 80 PS in power and 50 Nm in torque when compared to its predecessor, the flagship Turbo with a traditional combustion engine. These enhancements result in impressive performance improvements, enabling the Turbo S to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds when in Sport Plus mode. Porsche’s engineering team in Weissach diligently overhauled the trusted four-liter V8 biturbo engine, elevating the car’s top speed to an impressive 315 km/h.
