The 2024 Lexus LM represents the second generation of a luxury minivan produced and crafted by the prestigious Japanese brand Lexus, known for its affiliation with Toyota’s luxury division. This MPV was originally introduced in 2018, but the second generation has recently been unveiled as a 2024 model year release. The lineup will consist of two models, namely the LM 350h and LM 500h, both featuring Lexus’ advanced Direct4 electric four-wheel drive technology. Buyers can choose from three distinct configurations: a 4-seater, 6-seater, or 7-seater arrangement. With this new generation, Lexus has significantly expanded its availability, making it accessible in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Powertrain

The 2024 Lexus LM comes with two engine options shared with other GA-K platform vehicles: the A25A-FXS and T24A-FTS engines. The LM 350h offers 184 kW (247 hp; 250 PS), while the LM 500h provides a more potent 260 kW (349 hp; 354 PS):

  • The A25A-FXS engine is a 2.5L inline-four petrol hybrid with 140 kW (188 hp; 190 PS) from the engine and an additional 134 kW (180 hp; 182 PS) from the front motor. It features 236 N⋅m of torque from the engine and 270 N⋅m from the front motor, resulting in a combined system output of 184 kW (247 hp; 250 PS). This setup uses a 5NM AC synchronous motor for the front, a 5 Ah NiMH battery, and an e-CVT transmission, and is available in the LM 350h with front-wheel drive since 2023.
  • The T24A-FTS engine is a 2.4L turbocharged inline-four petrol hybrid with 200 kW (268 hp; 272 PS) from the engine, 61 kW (82 hp; 83 PS) from the front motor, and 59 kW (79 hp; 80 PS) from the rear motor. It delivers 460 N⋅m of torque from the engine, 292 N⋅m from the front motor, and 169 N⋅m from the rear motor, resulting in a combined system output of 260 kW (349 hp; 354 PS). This setup features a 1ZM AC synchronous motor for the front, a 1YM AC synchronous motor for the rear, and an 8-speed “Direct Shift” automatic transmission. It is available in the LM 500h with AWD E-Four technology.
