The 2024 Lexus ES represents the latest iteration in the lineage of mid-size executive cars introduced by Lexus, Toyota’s luxury division, since its inception in 1989. The vehicle received a facelift in 2021, marking a significant update to its design and features. Notably, this year marked the introduction of an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option, with a unique 50/50 maximum torque distribution that evenly distributed torque between the front and rear wheels. Although the exterior of the ES saw relatively fewer modifications, it retained its timeless appeal.

As the flagship sedan within the Lexus lineup, the ES undergoes minor updates for the 2024 model year. These include the introduction of an optional Technology Package and the inclusion of 18-inch wheels with a Vapor Chrome finish as standard for the Ultra Luxury grade, further enhancing the vehicle’s offerings.

These specifications enable the ES 250 to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH* in 8.6 seconds, with a top track speed of 131 MPH. Additionally, the estimated combined MPG stands at 28.

2024 Lexus ES

  • Another, more potent choice is available with the ES 350, which is outfitted with a 3.5L V6 engine producing 302 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. It achieves a 0-60 MPH time of 6.6 seconds, and like the other option, it reaches a top track speed* of 131 MPH. The ES 350 features the same Direct-Shift eight-speed automatic transmission but with front-wheel drive, and its combined MPG estimate is 26.

2024 Lexus ES

  • The 300h, which is the hybrid variant, comes with a 2.5L In-line 4 engine. The total system horsepower for this model reaches 215 hp, and it’s paired with an Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission. The power is delivered through front-wheel drive, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 8.1 seconds and achieve a top track speed of 112 MPH. Furthermore, the combined MPG estimate is an impressive 44.
