The 2024 Ford Maverick is a compact crew cab pickup truck introduced by Ford Motor Company. As Ford’s smallest truck, it was officially unveiled in 2022, marking a lower-class alternative to the 2021 Ford Ranger. Sharing a front-wheel drive-based unibody platform with models like the Ford Escape and Bronco Sport, the Maverick offers a choice between a standard full hybrid engine or an optional conventional turbo engine, with the latter supporting all-wheel drive. Notably, the 2024 Maverick holds the distinction of being the first American standard hybrid pickup, boasting impressive fuel efficiency, requiring only 7.6 liters of petrol to cover 100 kilometers.

In this review, we’ll delve into the Maverick’s features, performance, and overall appeal in the compact pickup truck segment.
