3 pictures of the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade, the new generation of the American luxury SUV, were leaked today on Instagram website.
Hours after the official unveiling of the all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Suburban, an account on Instagram website posted pictures presumably of the entirely new generation of their luxurious sister Cadillac Escalade. The pictures were taken in a factory apparently belonging to the General Motors group, owner of the Cadillac brand.
As you know, Tahoe, Suburban, and Escalade (the most luxurious model) share the same chassis from General Motors, and after the launch of the new generation of 2021 Tahoe and Suburban, pictures of the Cadillac Escalade 2021 were leaked on the web.
According to what we see in the leaked photos, it seems that Escalade, in its fifth and completely new generation, will have an exterior design inspired by its small sister Cadillac XT6, and as you can see, Cadillac has used a lot of chrome in the bodywork of its largest SUV.
Knowing that this upcoming car will depend on the same chassis of the new generations of Tahoe and Suburban, then it’s safe to say that the new luxury SUV will be larger than the current Escalade.
As for the interior, we can see in the pictures that it looks completely different than the current model, with large screens and leather upholstery, and without any doubt the American manufacturer will provide loads of technologies and features in this upcoming model.
Regarding the mechanical specifications of the upcoming 2021 Escalade, speculations suggest a hybrid version, while the higher version is likely to derive its engine from Camaro ZL1, a 6.2-liter V8 with a 650 hp and 881 Nm of torque.
The all-new fifth-generation 2021 Cadillac Escalade is expected to be launched early next year
