Today we got very important official information about the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander, according to official statements from Mitsubishi Motors in North America.
Before talking about this new official information, we would like to remind you about the latest test-drives of Mitsubishi cars:
Now let us tell you that the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander is coming during the beginning of the next year 2021, God willing, and it will be sold in the global markets after a short period of its launch so that the Japanese company can compete within the crossover SUV category, which includes Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, and Mazda CX-9,
However, Nissan Pathfinder will not be included in the challenge list, as the Japanese company Nissan acquired 34% of Mitsubishi and subsequently made it an equal partner in the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
Mitsubishi Motors North America also added that the year 2021 will witness the launch of 3 facelifted cars including the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage 2021.
Our ArabGT team has previously obtained information confirming that the upcoming new Mitsubishi Outlander will depend on a chassis developed by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, and it is expected that it’s the same chassis used in Nissan Rogue, which makes us expect an increase in the size of the 2021 Outlander 2021 since Rouge is slightly larger.
the all-new 2021 Outlander is likely to be available with two engines; a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine generating 153 hp, and a hybrid option that combines a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor.
Engines of the 2021 Mitsubishi car include the following:
- A turbocharged 4-cylinder 1.5-liter generating 153 hp.
- A hybrid system that combines a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor.
