Mechanical Specifications
The 2025 Toyota 4Runner is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, delivering 278 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. Higher trims are equipped with the I-Force Max hybrid system, boosting power to 326 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.
The I-Force Max hybrid powertrain is available on all trims except for the base SR5 and TRD Sport. It comes standard on the Platinum, TRD Pro, and Trail Hunter models.
Toyota has not yet specified an exact release date, but the 2025 4Runner is expected to hit showrooms in early 2025.
