More Than A Year To Build Mustang Eleanor The Star of Gone In 60 Seconds Movie

Just as we told you in Friday’s chat video, the star of today’s episode of Special Car program presented to you by Suhaib Shashaa is the legendary 1967 Mustang Eleanor, which is the dream car for many people, including our colleague Karim Deeb.

Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor is considered the top American muscle car, and it starred the Hollywood movie “Gone In 60 Seconds”, which was released in 2000, after which the price of this Mustang, has increased significantly. 11 copies of this car have participated in the shooting of the movie, some of them were destroyed while filming, and the rest of the cars were sold.

The car we are test-driving in today’s episode is not one of the stars of the movie, but it is an exact replica of the speed movie heroine, and it was built by a professional American company that took one year and one month for the result you see today dear Arab GT followers.

Watch The Video:

The American muscle car that Suhaib is testing in this episode is powered by a modified 7-liter Big Block engine, with a modified crankshaft, rods, pistons, and cylinder heads. The car got a modified fuel system, and a modified clutch with 3 clutch plates to withstand the engine’s power. The car is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox and modified brakes.

For even more thrill, the 1967 Mustang Eleanor got a nitrous system that can turn the car into a missile with the touch of a button, knowing that the power of this car without nitrous interference is more than 500 hp.

During the episode, Suhaib explained to us in a simple way how does nitrous system work, and how it increases the power of the car by 100 to 150 hp

After Suhaib made a couple of drift donuts at the Dubai Autodrome, we presented a very special Mopar product, which is a pen that treats any scratches or hits on the car rims, The pen is available in all the colors of the wheels produced by Mopar.
