Here’s What Mark Zuckerberg Drives Nowadays

In recent months, Mark Zuckerberg has been on a mission to reshape his public image, adopting new looks and a more relaxed attitude towards criticism. However, one of the most intriguing aspects of this transformation is Mark Zuckerberg’s car choice, which he recently revealed as a supercharged Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.

The revelation came to light on Instagram when Brian Scotto, co-founder of the now-defunct Hoonigan, inquired about what Zuckerberg drives. To this, Zuckerberg replied, “Mostly Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing these days, but sometimes other things.” This casual statement caught the attention of car enthusiasts everywhere, but one critical detail was left ambiguous: does Mark Zuckerberg’s car have a manual transmission? Given his background and lifestyle, many assume he opted for the automatic, but if he did go for the stick shift, it could add an unexpected dimension to his otherwise reserved public persona. It might even make people reconsider their assumptions the next time he appears on TV.

Interestingly, Mark Zuckerberg’s car, the CT5-V Blackwing, recently received a significant update. Cadillac introduced a refreshed model along with a new track package, designed to elevate the vehicle’s already impressive performance. Despite this, it’s unlikely that Zuckerberg’s car is one of these newly updated versions. The production of the facelifted CT5s, which maintain the powerful 668-horsepower V-8 engine of their predecessors, began quite recently. Similarly, the Precision Package, an add-on announced in late June, isn’t yet available on Cadillac’s official website for the 2025 model year cars. Given these timelines, it’s probable that Zuckerberg is driving a model produced before these updates were introduced.

The choice of Mark Zuckerberg’s car is rather refreshing in the world of tech CEOs and founders. Most of his peers either lean towards electric vehicles to showcase a futuristic, eco-friendly image or prefer not to drive at all, opting instead for chauffeur services. While these options are perfectly reasonable, they do follow the expected norm for someone in Zuckerberg’s position. In contrast, his selection of a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing—an unapologetically powerful machine—reveals a different side of him. It shows a preference for the thrill and excitement that comes with driving a high-performance car, breaking away from the predictable mold of the tech executive.

So, before labeling Mark Zuckerberg as just another cold-blooded tech mogul, take a moment to consider Mark Zuckerberg’s car. His choice reflects an appreciation for raw power and a sense of adventure. It’s a reminder that even someone at the helm of a massive tech empire can have a taste for something as visceral as a supercharged V-8. Now, all that remains is for him to up the ante and post a reel of himself doing a burnout on the Fourth of July. That would certainly complete his ongoing image overhaul.
