A Brief History of the Mercedes-AMG One
This hypercar first appeared as a concept known as the Mercedes Project One, unveiled at the German International Motor Show back in 2017. At the time, Mercedes-Benz announced that only 275 units would be produced, each priced at a staggering 2.72 million USD (approximately 10.2 million Saudi riyals). All units were sold out even before production began. However, the car’s entry into production was delayed due to various development challenges. Despite these setbacks, manufacturing officially commenced in August 2022.
