The new 2021 Mercedes AMG GLA 45 was unveiled online, ahead of the small high-performance crossover’s official debut, which is scheduled next week on the Mercedes-Benz platform at Geneva Motor Show 2020, where our team will be to cover the most important launches in this global event.
Before talking about this high-performance car, we would like to remind you that the all-new second-generation 2021 Mercedes GLA appeared last December 2019. The car was introduced as a 2021 model, to compete against a large list of cars, including the Audi Q3, and BMW X1, Cadillac XT4, Infiniti QX30, Lexus UX, Volvo XC40, and Jaguar E Pace.

This German car is powered by a turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, borrowed from its siblings, the 2020 A45 AMG, 2020 CLA 45 AMG. The engine produces 382 hp (387 PS) and 480 Nm. of torque and is connected to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The 2021 Mercedes AMG GLA 45 has a 4-wheel-drive 4Matic system and the car can go from zero to a speed of 96 km / h (60 mph) in 4.3 seconds, and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km / h.
The higher version GLA 45 S, which will be available in some markets, its engine produces 415 horsepower (421 PS) and 500 Nm of torque and it can reach a speed of 96 km / h in less than 4.3 seconds, and a top speed of 270 km / h.
The interior of the Mercedes AMG GLA 45 2021 comes with the MBUX infotainment system AMG Track Pace system that helps drivers on the track and provide them with all the data they need.
