Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), the global automaker that designs, engineers, manufactures and sells vehicles in a portfolio of exciting brands, including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep and Ram, has decided to extend any Mopar warranty that expires during Coronavirus lockdown in the Middle East.
As it is widely known,, Mopar is the exclusive provider of maintenance, parts and customer care services to the clients of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles worldwide.
Under the terms of the extension, every Mopar customer who has signed a service contract or an extended warranty plan that expires during the quarantine period has the right of a one-month extension after the end of the quarantine, as determined by the authorities in their place of residence, and these clients should contact service centers to book an appointment to maintain their cars during this month period, and the basic conditions in their expired contract will be considered valid.
In explaining the reason for this extension, Maher Abdullah, Mopar Director of Service, Parts, Customer Care and Supply Chain for Fiat Chrysler Motors Group in the Middle East, commented: “The world today faces an unprecedented challenge, and we would like to help our customers in any way we can to reduce the pressure caused by this situation. Most of our clients are detained in their house because of something they do not control , and we would like to make sure that they remain safe in their homes during the time of the quarantine. As a result, we have extended the deadline for the expiration of their warranties to enable them to book an appointment to maintain their cars at the end of the quarantine period. ”
