As previously mentioned, Cadillac’s most expensive vehicle to date is the Celestiq, which aims to rival the Rolls-Royce Spectre. However, what’s truly caught our attention is the record-breaking price of the world’s first 2025 Escalade IQ, which sold for over half a million dollars!
Price Comparison of Cadillac’s Luxury Models
The starting price for the new Cadillac Celestiq is $350,000 (SAR 1,312,500) in the global market, while the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ has a retail price beginning at $129,990 (SAR 487,462). However, this first-ever Escalade IQ was sold at a charity auction for an impressive $550,000 (SAR 2,062,500)—more than three times the suggested retail price.

Escalade IQ at Barrett-Jackson Auction
This historic auction took place at Barrett-Jackson’s fall event in Scottsdale, Arizona, where Cadillac announced the vehicle in September. Donated by Cadillac, the proceeds went directly to charity, with Barrett-Jackson waiving any commission.
Bidding on the Escalade IQ began at $100,000 (SAR 375,000) and quickly escalated, reaching $150,000 (SAR 562,500) before doubling. Within just two minutes, a final bid of $550,000 (SAR 2,062,500) secured this luxurious electric SUV for one lucky buyer.
Mechanical Highlights of the 2025 Escalade IQ
The 2025 Escalade IQ is powered by dual electric motors—one in the front and one in the rear—delivering 680 horsepower and 833 Nm of torque. In its high-performance Velocity Max mode, the power surges to 750 horsepower, with torque climbing to 1,064 Nm.
Fueled by a 200-kilowatt Ultium battery pack with 24 cells (the same as the GMC Hummer EV pickup), this all-wheel-drive SUV accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h). On a single charge, the Escalade IQ can travel up to 740 km, and with its 800-volt architecture, it gains 135 km of range with just 10 minutes on a 350-kilowatt DC fast charger.
Advanced Interior and Features
Inside, the 2025 Escalade IQ offers a luxurious experience with a fixed panoramic glass roof featuring an electric shade and doors that open and close automatically. The driver benefits from a 55-inch curved display, while a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system fills the cabin with premium sound. Cadillac’s Super Cruise technology provides hands-free semi-autonomous driving assistance, and the vehicle includes OnStar support for three years.
