After recent spy shots, the 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II has been revealed, showcasing updates that include new lighting, enhanced technology, and an optional Duality Twill fabric featuring 2.2 million stitches within the luxurious cabin.
Noticing the changes in the Ghost Series II might require a closer look, as the shape of this English luxury sedan remains unchanged since its current generation was introduced in 2020. However, Rolls-Royce has subtly refreshed the lighting and front fascia to give it a contemporary touch. The interior remains a pinnacle of opulence, now with updated software and expanded customization options.
Exterior Updates
The front has been refined with a redesigned fascia that softens the sharp corners while accommodating a slightly larger grille. The headlights are now slimmer and incorporate new LED elements. At the rear, the updated taillights draw inspiration from the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre, featuring two distinct vertical stripes.
The 22-inch wheels now come with new nine-spoke designs, and with over 44,000 color choices available through Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke service, customers are unlikely to run out of options. A new color, Mustique Blue, has been added to the already extensive palette.
Interior Enhancements
Inside the cabin, the Ghost features a central infotainment screen and a digital gauge display that stretches across a glass panel from pillar to pillar. These digital gauges can now be personalized to match the buyer’s preferences. Rolls-Royce offers the possibility for customers to choose specific colors for the gauges, which are then custom-coded to ensure uniqueness.
On the tech front, the 2025 Ghost is equipped with the Spirit software suite, providing a digital interface that includes Whispers, a Rolls-Royce app allowing remote control via smartphone. This app enables basic features like locking or unlocking doors, sending navigation instructions, or tracking the vehicle’s location. Rear passengers can stream up to two devices on each screen, and the car is equipped with an 18-speaker, 1,400-watt sound system.
For those seeking novel luxury materials, Rolls-Royce now offers Grey Stained Ash wood and a new fabric option called Duality Twill, made from bamboo. The development of this fabric took a year, and selecting it adds an additional 20 hours to the manufacturing process. It uses 17,702 meters of thread, resulting in 2.2 million stitches.
Mechanical Features
Mechanically, the 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost remains unchanged, continuing with its 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering 563 horsepower through an eight-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels.
For those desiring more power, the Ghost Black Badge Series II is available, featuring the same interior and exterior updates. The Black Badge version incorporates dark chrome and carbon fiber for a sportier aesthetic and offers 22-inch seven-spoke wheel options. Its V12 engine is tuned to produce 591 horsepower, with quicker transmission shifts.
