Porsche’s Most Powerful Model Ever Is Here

Porsche has officially entered a new era of extreme power — and this time, not with a V12-powered supercar, but with an all-electric beast that has shattered every benchmark. Welcome the Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric, now officially crowned the most powerful production Porsche ever made.

After launching the standard electric Cayenne, the German brand unveiled the Coupe version at the Beijing Auto Show 2026. It combines sleek coupe styling with terrifying performance figures that may even make the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT rethink its position.

Rocket-Level Performance

The biggest shock for speed enthusiasts comes from the numbers. The electric Cayenne Coupe uses dual electric motors producing up to 1,156 horsepower in Turbo trim with Overboost.

Numbers That Will Leave You Speechless

  • 0–100 km/h: just 2.5 seconds
  • Power: more powerful than every previous Porsche, including halo sports cars
  • Battery: 113 kWh pack
  • Charging: thanks to 800V architecture, it charges from 10% to 80% in only 16 minutes, with charging speeds up to 400 kW

Coupe Styling With Serious Aerodynamics

While the front end resembles the regular Cayenne EV, major changes begin from the A-pillar backward:

  • Sloping roofline: gives it a sharper sporty look while reducing drag to just 0.23 Cd
  • Lower stance: 2 cm lower than the standard version for sharper cornering stability
  • Active aero: Turbo models receive side aero blades and an adaptive rear wing for added downforce

Interior Technology From the Future

Inside, Porsche packed the cabin with advanced technology:

  • Triple-screen layout: digital cluster, curved central display, and optional passenger screen
  • Augmented reality HUD: projects driving data directly onto the road ahead
  • Smart controls: physical buttons remain for essential functions to preserve ease of use

Available Trims and Prices

Porsche announced three launch versions:

  • Cayenne Coupe Standard: 408 hp (442 hp with Overboost)
  • Cayenne Coupe S: 544 hp (666 hp with Overboost)
  • Cayenne Coupe Turbo: 857 hp, peaking at 1,156 hp

Expected global pricing starts from €110,000, around $128,953 USD or SAR 483,241, with first deliveries scheduled for summer 2026.

ArabGT Opinion

Porsche clearly isn’t joking when it comes to electrification. The Cayenne Coupe Electric is more than just another SUV — it’s a statement of dominance in the high-performance EV world. A family SUV that launches to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds while offering signature Porsche luxury proves the future has already arrived.

What do you think? Can the electric Cayenne preserve the legendary reputation built by roaring combustion engines? And would you trade the sound of a V8 for 1,156 silent horsepower?
