Nissan has revealed the refreshed 2026 Pathfinder, set to make its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show from November 21 to 30. The SUV arrives with a bolder look, smarter technology, and a design aimed to handle everything from family road trips to daily drives and weekend adventures.
A Fresh Look Outside
The 2026 Pathfinder gets a redesigned front and rear, new satin-finish badges, and a striking new color called Baltic Teal. The updates give the SUV a more confident and modern presence on the road. Buyers in the U.S. will be able to choose from five trims—S, S-V, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum—when it hits showrooms in early 2026. This facelift is a key part of Nissan’s “Re:Nissan” plan, which focuses on creating a more customer-friendly and diverse lineup.
Upgrades Inside and in Technology
Step inside, and the Pathfinder features a redesigned dashboard with a larger infotainment screen and subtle Pathfinder branding. Higher trims add black roof rails, premium 20-inch wheels, new seat stitching, and wood-look interior touches.
Tech-wise, all models now come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Digital gauges of the same size appear on SL and Platinum trims. Wireless charging has been upgraded to three times the previous speed, delivering up to 15 watts while keeping devices cool and securely mounted.
The SUV also gets a smarter camera system. The HD Intelligent Around View Monitor, available on Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum trims, includes a 180-degree Front Wide View and an Invisible Hood View, giving drivers a virtual line of sight over the engine.
The cabin seats seven or eight passengers, with around 470 liters of cargo space behind the third row—expandable to 2,280 liters with the rear seats folded. Power liftgates are standard on SV, Rock Creek, and SL trims, while the Platinum trim offers a gesture-controlled liftgate.
Performance That Can Handle Anything
Under the hood, the Pathfinder packs a 3.5-liter V6 with 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel-drive models with Intelligent 4×4 offer seven driving modes, from Eco to Sport, Sand, Mud, and more. Towing starts at 3,500 pounds and jumps to 6,000 pounds on Rock Creek and Platinum trims—or with optional premium packages.
The Rock Creek trim takes things off-road with higher ground clearance, all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned suspension, and a rugged exterior look with a unique grille, bumper, LED fog lights, and tubular steel roof. Inside, Lava Red stitching and synthetic leather seats add a sporty touch, while the Rock Creek Premium package brings a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, trunk power outlet, and a heated steering wheel.
Safety First
Nissan hasn’t compromised on safety. Every Pathfinder comes with Safety Shield 360 and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, while SV and higher trims add ProPILOT Assist and Intelligent Cruise Control for stress-free highway driving. The SUV continues to hold its five-star NHTSA safety rating.
