On March 8, 2024, the VISION EQXX took on its third formidable challenge: a single-charge journey from Riyadh to Dubai. Traversing the severe conditions of the Arabian desert, the vehicle not only survived but excelled, demonstrating its capability for extreme energy efficiency.

The route was a rigorous mix of extended desert highways and congested urban streets, ideal for testing the vehicle’s thermal management systems and innovative solar roof.

During this trek, the VISION EQXX achieved an efficiency of 7.4 kWh/100 km and completed the journey in 14 hours and 42 minutes, with a remarkable 309 km of range remaining upon reaching Dubai. Even under temperatures reaching 34°C, the vehicle surpassed its previous efficiency records.
