Lynk & Co Celebrates 10 Years With A Bold GT Concept

Ten years after the launch of Lynk & Co, the brand continues to find new ways to prove it was never created to follow existing trends, but to establish its own identity. At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the message became clearer than ever: a brand designed and engineered in Sweden, with proven success on international racing circuits, is now translating that heritage into road-going products.

Under the name “Time To Shine,” Lynk & Co unveiled the first GT concept car in its history. Stefan Rosen, the company’s Head of Design, described the project as the result of ten years of ideas, development, and ambition.

The concept features a dramatic wide-body design with muscular proportions, measuring 4,780 mm in length and 2,000 mm in width, while standing just 1,330 mm tall — dimensions inspired by classic supercars.

What gives the concept real credibility is the brand’s motorsport history, including nine TCR world titles over seven consecutive years. The new GT is not simply a design study, but a natural continuation of the company’s performance ambitions following the launch of the 03+ TCR, the first Chinese production-based race car to compete globally.

Lynk & Co 10 EV Marks The Brand’s Entry Into Luxury Electric SUVs

Alongside the GT concept, Lynk & Co officially announced the pre-sale launch of the 10 EV, a luxury all-electric SUV positioned in the E-segment.

The SUV is built on the well-known CMA architecture, developed jointly by Geely and Volvo, helping deliver high standards of safety and mechanical refinement.

The model also represents Lynk & Co’s direct entry into the premium large electric SUV segment, an area traditionally dominated by German and American manufacturers in Middle Eastern markets.

Satellite Technology For Continuous Connectivity

Lynk & Co is also introducing advanced connectivity solutions through its partnership with Geespace. The company has already launched three satellites named Lynk & Co 01, Lynk & Co 09, and Lynk & Co 900.

These satellites are designed to provide uninterrupted communication coverage for Lynk & Co vehicles in remote areas where conventional mobile networks may not be available, enhancing navigation and connectivity during long-distance travel — especially useful for developing markets and Gulf countries.

Strong Global And Regional Presence

Lynk & Co has built a unique balance between Chinese innovation and Swedish engineering, operating more than 860 locations worldwide with a strong presence across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and other Arab markets.

The brand’s vehicles, powered by award-winning Drive-E engines and supported by Volvo-developed platforms, continue to appeal to customers seeking a mix of performance, technology, and reliability.

ArabGT Opinion

The 2026 Beijing Auto Show summarized Lynk & Co’s story perfectly: a brand combining real racing heritage, tested technology, and a growing global presence.

The new GT concept is more than just another show car — it signals the beginning of Lynk & Co’s next chapter, where motorsport expertise evolves into a premium everyday driving experience.

Do you think Lynk & Co, with its Swedish-Chinese engineering philosophy, can seriously challenge European GT brands in the future?
