Lexus RC and RCF Retirement Date Confirmed

The Lexus RC and RC F models are set to bid farewell in November 2025. To commemorate their departure, Lexus has announced a final special edition for these luxury sports coupes, offering unique features as a tribute to their legacy.

The announcement of this special edition took place in Japan, where it was revealed that the farewell models will be available for both the standard RC range and the high-performance RC F lineup.

Special Features of the Lexus RC Final Edition
For the RC300 and RC300h models, powered by four-cylinder engines, and the six-cylinder RC350 variant, the final edition introduces 19-inch Enkei wheels paired with striking red brake calipers. The exterior features a new Sonic Iridium paint, offered alongside eight other standard colors, and is complemented by black electrically folding side mirrors.

Inside, the cabin incorporates carbon fiber and suede accents, with all final edition vehicles showcasing a black and red interior for a sporty yet elegant ambiance.

 

Exclusive Details of the 2025 Lexus RC F Final Edition
The high-performance RC F coupe, equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine, receives additional enhancements. It features a unique hood design and sits on 19-inch BBS wheels with red brake calipers, matching the exterior finish of the standard RC models. Carbon fiber components dominate the RC F’s design, including the front spoiler, rear diffuser, roof, and deployable rear spoiler.

Although Lexus Japan has indicated that this model includes a “highly tuned engine,” the V8 engine, known as the 2UR-GSE, retains its output of 475 horsepower and 535 Newton-meters of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission paired with a rear differential.

Pricing for the 2025 Lexus RC and RC F Final Edition
The RC300 base model starts at 6,660,000 yen (approximately $42,687 or SAR160,076). The price reaches 13,600,000 yen (around $87,169 or SAR326,883) for the top-of-the-line RC F.

All final edition models are now available in Japan, with the high-performance V8-powered RC F limited to just 200 units, making it a collector’s dream.
