After years of anticipation, the new Lamborghini Temerario 2025 has finally made its debut as the successor to the Huracan. This supercar boasts immense power, thanks to an advanced mechanical system that brings together the force of four engines.

With the discontinuation of the Lamborghini Huracan, the era of its iconic naturally aspirated V10 engine has also come to an end. However, Lamborghini enthusiasts need not worry, as the Temerario 2025, hailing from the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory in Italy, promises an even more thrilling experience.

Cutting-Edge Mechanical Specifications

The Lamborghini Temerario 2025 is equipped with a cutting-edge PHEV hybrid system (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine with three electric motors. Together, these four engines deliver a staggering 920 horsepower.

This Italian supercar sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

Engine Details

Lamborghini has engineered this new V8 engine from the ground up. It features a 90-degree “Hot V” configuration and a flat-plane crankshaft, complemented by two turbochargers operating at a maximum pressure of 36 psi. The use of aluminum alloy cylinder heads and titanium connecting rods helps to keep the weight down.

Three axial-flow, oil-cooled electric motors enhance the V8 engine. One motor is positioned in the rear, between the gasoline engine and the transversely mounted 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This motor alone produces up to 150 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The other two motors are located on the front axle, each driving a front wheel and generating 82 horsepower.

The new Lamborghini is all-wheel drive, but for those who love to drift, there’s a “Drift Mode” that sends torque to the rear wheels at three different power levels. Additionally, the 2025 Temerario features a “Launch Control” function for explosive starts.

High-Tech Supercar Batteries

The battery pack has a capacity of 3.8 kilowatt-hours. The Temerario supports conventional AC charging with up to 7 kilowatts of power, allowing the battery to recharge in 30 minutes. It can also be recharged through regenerative braking or directly from the V8 engine in less than 6 minutes. The front electric motors alone can power the car, though Lamborghini has yet to reveal the electric-only range of the Temerario.

Striking Exterior Design

Visually, the Temerario is a blend of the larger Aventador replacement, Revolto, and the outgoing Huracan. The headlights are sleek, occupying a small space in each corner of the hood, with modern hexagonal LEDs positioned just below them on either side of the front bumper. The Temerario rides on interlocking 20- and 21-inch wheels, with options for forged carbon fiber or regular carbon fiber.

A larger air intake in front of the rear wheels improves downforce by 103 percent compared to the Huracan Evo, making the Temerario even more aerodynamic.

Optional Performance Packages

Lamborghini offers the Alleggerita lightweight package, which includes a larger rear wing, unique bumper treatments, a carbon fiber wing, and a 158 percent increase in downforce compared to the Huracan. This package also reduces the car’s weight by 25 kilograms. The Carbon Pack further reduces weight by 1.8 kilograms by incorporating carbon fiber in the rear diffuser, mirror caps, and side air intakes.

Lightweight Structure and Enhanced Interior

The Temerario features a new lightweight structure, moving away from the Huracan’s aluminum and carbon fiber body. The Temerario’s body is made entirely of aluminum, resulting in a 50 percent reduction in material use, an 80 percent reduction in the number of hot-welded joints, and a 20 percent increase in torsional rigidity, all contributing to lower overall weight.

Inside, the 2025 Temerario offers a cockpit-inspired cabin filled with hexagonal design elements. Headroom is improved by 1.3 inches compared to the Huracan, and legroom is increased by up to 1.8 inches. Lamborghini claims even a 6-foot-6-inch basketball player can comfortably wear a helmet inside the car.

The interior features an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen at the center of the dashboard, complemented by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver. In keeping with the latest trends, the 2025 Temerario also includes a third 9.1-inch touchscreen for the passenger.

Pricing and Availability

The price of the Lamborghini Temerario 2025 remains a mystery, but given that the final Huracan Evo retailed for around $300,000 (1,125,000 Saudi riyals), it’s likely that the Temerario could be priced around $400,000 to $500,000. More details about Lamborghini’s latest supercar will be revealed when it goes on sale later this year or in early 2025, God willing.
