Jeep has officially unveiled the updated (facelifted) design of the 2027 Jeep Avenger.
Earlier, Jeep had teased the upcoming small Avenger 2027 for the first time, and now that teaser campaign has come to an end with the full reveal of the updated model.
Updated Jeep Avenger – What’s new in the design?
The Avenger now features a sharper front end with an illuminated grille, keeping its familiar identity intact while giving it a fresher, more modern look that aligns with Jeep’s latest design language, similar to the Compass.
The crossover also gets a redesigned version of Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille, now enhanced with new lighting elements. It seems Jeep has also removed the black frame around the grille, which gives the front a cleaner and more refined appearance.
Down below, the front bumper has been reworked, along with updated body cladding.
A revised silver skid plate with new horizontal details helps break up the heavy black plastic at the front. It’s paired with two new openings beneath the headlights, which are likely designed to act as vertical air curtains.
Exterior details
Beyond that, the overall design remains largely unchanged, although Jeep did hint at updated rear lights that look very close to those on the current model.
Jeep also confirmed that the Avenger will be offered with a two-tone paint option, roof rails, and 18-inch wheels.
The vehicle is expected to deliver “excellent” approach and departure angles, along with solid ground clearance.
Interior and powertrain
Jeep has yet to release any images of the interior. However, earlier test prototypes were seen with fully covered cabins, suggesting there could be some updates inside, although the extent of those changes is still unclear.
Powertrain details have also not been confirmed yet. That said, the current Avenger in Europe comes with several options, including a 1.2-liter petrol engine, a hybrid version, and a fully electric variant.
Production plans
More details are expected to be revealed later this year. The facelifted Avenger made its debut in Brazil, where the model is set to enter production soon.
It will become the fourth Jeep model to be manufactured in Brazil, with the company stating that this move supports its commitment to innovation, quality, and a stronger local presence.
