Chinese electric vehicle specialist iCAUR has officially entered the region with the launch of its iCAUR V27 SUV, marking a key milestone in the brand’s expansion beyond China. The United Arab Emirates has been selected as the brand’s regional launchpad, with broader expansion across Middle Eastern markets planned in the near future.

The V27 is built on a REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) platform. It relies primarily on electric motors and a high-capacity battery, while a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine operates solely as a generator to recharge the battery when required, without any direct mechanical connection to the drivetrain.
This intelligent configuration allows the iCAUR V27 to achieve a total driving range exceeding 900 kilometers, including up to 150 kilometers of fully electric, zero-emission driving. The result is a vehicle equally suited to daily urban commuting and long-distance travel across the UAE and wider region.
Performance is equally well balanced. The V27 delivers a combined output of 449 horsepower, with rear-wheel-drive versions reaching a top speed of 170 km/h, while all-wheel-drive variants extend that figure to 180 km/h. The setup ensures smooth power delivery, confident handling, and an engaging driving experience.
