In a remarkable move toward a safer and more sustainable future, the Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani Group, a leading conglomerate and the exclusive agent of ZEEKR in the UAE, has announced the inclusion of ZEEKR’s premium electric vehicles in the Dubai Police fleet. The official handover ceremony, held at the Dubai Police headquarters, was attended by Brigadier Juma Bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic, along with Ahmed Shihab Eldin, Director of Product and Strategy at ZEEKR MENA, Roberto Colucci, Director of ZEEKR at AW Rostamani Group, and senior officials from both AW Rostamani Group and ZEEKR.
Brigadier Juma bin Suwaidan emphasized the importance of cooperation between Dubai Police and ZEEKR in supporting programs and activities that ensure seamless integration between government and private entities. He stressed that Dubai Police has always prioritized establishing strong partnerships with the private sector. This ongoing collaboration reflects the government’s direction in fostering communication, positive cooperation, and the desired synergy in implementing joint initiatives and fulfilling social responsibilities that showcase Dubai’s pioneering image and the crucial role of both government and private sectors in achieving strategic goals.
The ZEEKR 001, now sporting the iconic Dubai Police livery, is a luxury shooting brake vehicle known for its exceptional performance.

The ZEEKR 001, Dubai Police’s latest addition, is fully electric, generating 544 hp (400 kW) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. This outstanding agility, paired with a stable braking system and precise cornering abilities, ensures unmatched maneuverability and control. With a range of 580 km on a single charge, it is also a reliable partner for extended operations.
Safety remains paramount, with the ZEEKR 001 earning a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP under the 2024 assessment protocols, as well as a five-star Green NCAP sustainability rating. The vehicle is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems that enhance situational awareness and minimize accident risks.
