Chevrolet officially pulled the covers off the new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport, filling the gap between the Stingray and the Z06.
The new model comes with a 6.7-liter LS6 engine producing 535 horsepower, while the hybrid GSX version pushes output to 721 horsepower, making it even more powerful than the Z06 itself.
Chevrolet is also offering several performance packages designed for track use, while prices are expected to start at around $90,000.
Sony And Honda End The Afeela Project
In the electric car world, Sony and Honda shocked many people by cancelling the Afeela project completely, despite it being far along in development.

Audi had a very strong week after becoming the luxury brand with the highest number of Top Safety Pick+ awards for 2026.
The German brand won six awards thanks to models like the Q5, Q6 e-tron, and A5, putting it ahead of both BMW and Genesis.
Mercedes, meanwhile, failed to secure a single award in the highest safety category this year.
Nissan Z Nismo Finally Gets A Manual Gearbox
For fans of Japanese sports cars, one of the biggest stories of the week was the return of the manual gearbox in the 2027 Nissan Z Nismo.
The car now comes with a six-speed manual transmission, along with GT-R-inspired upgrades that include stronger brakes and more precise steering.
