Chevrolet has confirmed that its all-new electric SUV, the Equinox EV, will be making its Middle East debut this summer. With its bold design, cutting-edge tech, and well-rounded performance, the Equinox EV aims to stand out in the region’s growing EV market.
Striking Design Meets Smart Functionality
The Equinox EV makes a strong first impression with its bold lines and sporty attitude. From its sculpted profile to sleek integrated door handles and dynamic lighting, the design reflects both energy and elegance. Customers can also personalize the vehicle with a dual-tone roof option and stylish 21-inch black aluminum wheels.
Chevrolet offers a range of vibrant exterior color choices including Pearl White, Brilliant Red, Metallic Turquoise Blue, and Silver Gray—giving the SUV a highly customizable visual identity.
Inside, the cabin fuses modern aesthetics with comfort. The black and crimson interior is enhanced by ambient multicolor lighting, creating a rich and inviting atmosphere. The SUV seats five passengers with ease, and when the rear seats are folded down, it offers up to 844 liters of storage space—perfect for daily errands or long road trips.
Tech That Elevates the Experience
The Equinox EV is equipped with a smart, hands-free interface that makes shifting between drive modes intuitive and button-free. Its tech suite is centered around a 17.7-inch tilting infotainment display paired with an 11-inch digital driver cluster. The vehicle also integrates OnStar Smart Services as standard, offering safety and connectivity features through the myChevrolet app.
Passengers benefit from built-in Google features such as voice commands, Google Maps, and access to the Play Store. A built-in Wi-Fi hotspot keeps everyone online on the go, making road trips more connected and enjoyable.
Electric Performance That Packs a Punch
Powered by a front-wheel-drive electric system, the Equinox EV delivers 213 horsepower and up to 220 Nm of torque, offering smooth, responsive acceleration. One-pedal driving and customizable regenerative braking enhance efficiency while adding to the car’s futuristic feel. Drivers can expect an estimated range of up to 320 miles per charge under the EPA cycle.
Flexible Charging Options
The Equinox EV is designed with convenience in mind, offering multiple charging solutions. A standard 7 kW wall box charger supports home charging, while an optional 22 kW Level 2 charger can add approximately 78 miles of range per hour. For drivers in a hurry, DC fast charging (up to 155 kW) delivers around 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
Availability and Regional Launch
Chevrolet is now accepting pre-orders for the Equinox EV RS trim in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. Deliveries will begin in May for customers in the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain, with Saudi Arabia to follow shortly after.
