2026 Honda Passport Engine and Mechanical Specifications

Powering this SUV is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower, an increase of 5 horsepower over the 2024 model, while maintaining a torque output of 355 Newton meters. This engine pairs with a new 10-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the previous 9-speed version and is specifically optimized for the Passport.

Equipped with Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system, this vehicle ensures torque distribution across all wheels, making it highly capable for rugged terrains.

For durability, the 2026 Passport boasts a strengthened suspension system with forged steel arms and robust iron joints, retuned MacPherson front struts, and a brand-new multi-link rear suspension. Additionally, the SUV features larger 13.8-inch front brakes and offers a towing capacity of up to 2,268 kilograms.

The new Passport will be offered in eight colors, including two exclusive shades for the TrailSport—Sunset Orange and Ash Green Metallic.

Interior Features

The extended wheelbase benefits rear passengers with additional legroom, while the cabin incorporates a 10.2-inch digital driver display and a 12.4-inch infotainment screen, 54% larger than before. Features include Google Built-In, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, ten cupholders (six accommodating 32-ounce bottles), and improved cargo space, including a four-person stowable picnic table that doubles as a smart cargo rack.
