Everything You Should Know About the 2025 Jeep Wrangler

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler arrives with a few updates, building on the significant refresh the model received in 2024. While most enhancements for the new model year are minor, they continue to solidify the Wrangler’s position as a versatile off-roader with a heritage spanning decades.

Everything You Should Know About the 2025 Jeep Wrangler

A highlight for 2025 is the introduction of the Willys ’41 Wrangler 4xe, a special edition that pays tribute to Jeep’s military roots. This unique version boasts design elements inspired by the iconic Willys MB of 1941, including a dark olive green exterior reminiscent of military vehicles. Pricing for the Willys ‘41 starts at $61,825, approximately 231,843 SAR.

In terms of affordability, the standard 2025 Jeep Wrangler begins at $33,990, which includes a $1,895 destination fee. This marks a $300 (SAR 1,125) increase over the 2024 base model, partly due to a $100 (SAR 375) hike in delivery charges. Orders for the 2025 Jeep Wrangler are now open, with Jeep dealerships already offering the updated lineup for sale. Despite some restrictions, options like the manual transmission and the V8 engine remain available.

New Features and Minimal Changes for 2025

After the comprehensive updates rolled out in 2024, changes for the 2025 Jeep Wranglerr are limited but practical. Power locks and power windows are now standard across the lineup, and Jeep has introduced an optional cabin ventilation system. This feature allows owners to manage cabin air circulation remotely through a smartphone app. Other standard features include Dana solid front and rear axles, all-wheel drive with the Command-Trac 2.72:1 system, 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 32-inch tires, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, fog lights, an eight-speaker audio system, and a rearview camera.

Powertrain Options and Mechanical Specifications

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler offers an array of engine options to suit diverse driving needs:

  • A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 270 horsepower.
  • A 3.6-liter V6 engine delivering 285 horsepower.
  • A 6.4-liter V8 engine generating 470 horsepower.

For eco-conscious buyers, the Wrangler 4xe models feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain that pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors. This setup delivers a combined 375 horsepower and includes a 17-kWh battery pack that provides up to 21 miles of EPA-certified electric range.

Jeep also offers flexibility in transmissions. The six-speed manual is now exclusive to the V6 engine after being previously available with the turbocharged four-cylinder. Additionally, an eight-speed automatic transmission is offered with the V6 for an extra $4,500. Other powertrains come standard with the eight-speed automatic, and the turbocharged four-cylinder costs $2,500 more than the V6, factoring in the price of the automatic transmission.

V8-Powered 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition Returns

Although Jeep initially planned to retire the V8 engine in the Wrangler, the Rubicon 392 Final Edition returns for 2025 after debuting in 2024. Production for the 2024 model was capped at 3,700 units, with 3,300 sold in the U.S., 300 in Canada, and 100 globally.
