Lincoln has given the 2027 Nautilus a fresh update, sharpening the look of its best selling SUV while keeping the comfort, technology and luxury that helped make it such an important model for the brand.
The changes are most noticeable at the front, where the Nautilus now wears a wider grille with a darker, more aggressive appearance. It gives the SUV a stronger road presence, although fans of Lincoln’s traditional chrome heavy styling may need some time to warm up to it.
A Darker, More Confident Exterior
The biggest visual change comes with the Jet Appearance Package, which adds a thick black surround to the grille and gives the front end a more modern, sportier character. Lincoln has also revised the bumper, headlights and hood to make the overall design look cleaner and more purposeful.
At the rear, the fake exhaust outlets are gone, replaced by simpler black trim that ties in better with the updated front end. Slim LED taillights remain part of the design, while buyers can choose from new wheel options ranging from 19 to 22 inches.
Lincoln has also introduced new paint colors, including Nocturnal Blue and Frosted Fig, with the latter available on the Black Label version.
The Cabin Still Feels Like the Main Attraction
Inside, the Nautilus continues to stand out with one of the most distinctive dashboards in the segment.
The massive 48 inch panoramic display still stretches across the width of the cabin, bringing navigation, Google Maps integration and over the air updates into one wide digital interface.
Comfort remains a major focus as well. Available features include BlueCruise 1.5 for hands free highway driving, 24 way adjustable Perfect Position seats with massage, the Renew Package and Lincoln’s Digital Scent system.
Black Label models also gain new interior themes, including Eminent Hour, which combines sunset inspired colors with natural ash wood trim for a warmer and more distinctive atmosphere.
Familiar Powertrains Under the Hood
Lincoln has not made any major mechanical changes for 2027.
The standard Nautilus continues with a turbocharged 2.0 liter four cylinder engine producing 250 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, paired with an eight speed automatic transmission.
The hybrid remains the more powerful option, combining a turbocharged 2.0 liter engine with an electric motor for a total output of 285 horsepower. It has also become a major part of the Nautilus lineup, accounting for more than half of the model’s sales.

The 2027 Lincoln Nautilus remains one of the more interesting choices in the premium SUV segment, especially for buyers who care about cabin technology, comfort and a strong sense of occasion behind the wheel.
The new blacked out styling gives it a more modern personality, but it may also split opinion. Some buyers will appreciate the sportier look, while others may prefer the brighter chrome finish that has traditionally been associated with Lincoln luxury.
Either way, the Nautilus still has plenty going for it, from its huge panoramic display to its spacious second row and well equipped interior.
