2026 Toyota RAV4 Officially Lands In The Middle East

The all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 has officially begun arriving in Middle Eastern markets, marking the regional debut of one of the world’s best-selling SUVs. Reservations are now open across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, and several neighboring countries, with early demand already reflecting the model’s strong reputation in the region.

In Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors has confirmed the arrival of the initial launch units, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin on March 5. The UAE market is expected to receive its first shipment during the first week of next month, ensuring a near-simultaneous rollout across key Gulf markets. As with previous generations, the RAV4 enters the region positioned as a practical, reliable, and family-friendly SUV — but now with more advanced options under the hood.

Still Offering What Our Market Wants

While Toyota has shifted the RAV4 lineup to hybrid-only in North America, Europe, and Japan, Middle Eastern customers continue to enjoy the flexibility of choice between gasoline and hybrid powertrains — a decision that reflects the region’s diverse driving needs and infrastructure realities.

For buyers who prefer simplicity and proven reliability, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine produces 170 horsepower and 203 Nm of torque. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and offered in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. This setup remains attractive for customers seeking lower upfront pricing and straightforward maintenance. In Saudi Arabia, gasoline variants are priced between SAR 102,000 and SAR 125,000, depending on trim and drivetrain.

For those prioritizing fuel efficiency and stronger performance, the hybrid models combine a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with Toyota’s well-established hybrid system. Total output reaches up to 239 horsepower in AWD E-Four versions, offering a noticeable boost in power while maintaining improved fuel economy. Hybrid pricing in Saudi Arabia ranges from SAR 107,000 to SAR 161,000, positioning it competitively within the segment.

Familiar Look, Modern Cabin

Visually, the Middle Eastern-spec RAV4 mirrors its global counterpart. Customers can choose between the standard Core design, which emphasizes clean SUV proportions, or the more rugged Adventure package that adds a tougher aesthetic. Wheel sizes range from 17 to 20 inches, depending on the selected trim.

Inside, Toyota has focused on digital refinement and everyday usability. The cabin features either a 10.5-inch or 12.9-inch infotainment display, complemented by a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Higher trims add premium touches such as a head-up display and a panoramic roof with an electric sunshade, enhancing both comfort and technology appeal.

UAE Pricing Snapshot

In the UAE, gasoline variants begin at AED 105,900, while hybrid models extend up to AED 152,900. Although the new generation carries a slightly higher entry price compared to its predecessor, the hybrid variants are now more competitively positioned, making electrified ownership more accessible than before.

Overall, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 continues to build on its reputation as a dependable, versatile SUV — now offering Middle Eastern buyers the best of both worlds: traditional gasoline reliability and modern hybrid efficiency.
