2025 Mini Cooper Cabriolet Pricing, Specs and Key Highlights

The 2025 Mini Cooper Cabriolet is set to hit global markets in January of next year, with an initial price of $34,945, which is approximately 131,040 Saudi riyals.

Convertible cars, after enjoying immense popularity during the early 2000s, have faced challenges in recent years, with small cars becoming increasingly rare. For those who still desire the experience of driving a convertible, the cost can be quite high. It’s refreshing, therefore, to see that Mini, a British company owned by BMW, continues to support this segment and has introduced significant updates to its convertible model.

Official Announcement Regarding the 2025 MINI Cooper Cabriolet

Stefan Richmann, the head of the MINI brand, shared that the company takes great pride in offering customers a true convertible within its current lineup. He noted that the small convertible has become a long-term fixture, marking 20 years since its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2004.

This move isn’t entirely unexpected, as MINI had already committed to unveiling this car in 2021 and followed through with the facelift. The latest version now aligns with the current generation of MINI Coopers, which has already seen updates.

Exterior

The 2025 Mini Cooper Cabriolet ‘s front features a prominent grille, framed within an octagonal shape, while a small radar sensor sits on the horizontal pillar. LED headlights come as standard, with three distinct light signatures, providing an animated light display for greetings, goodbyes, or departures.

The fully automatic soft top can be opened in just 18 seconds while driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h (18.6 mph), with the window bars and side windows lowering simultaneously. Closing the top takes only 15 seconds. The integrated roll-over protection system is concealed behind the rear headrests and activates when the central safety system detects a rollover risk.

With the roof open, the car offers 160 liters of luggage space, and with the roof closed, this expands to 215 liters. An optional black soft top featuring a contrasting Union Jack design is also available. For those who favor a sportier appearance, the John Cooper Works (JCW) model of the MINI Cooper Cabriolet comes with its own unique front and rear design.
